Unveil the secrets of nourishing organic food as we delve into Chestnut Brae’s journey towards sustainable agriculture. During the tour, learn how farming practices impact the flavour and quality of what you eat, before indulging in a delicious farm-fresh lunch, with drinks.

After fueling your body, ignite your creativity with a hands-on introduction to preserving workshop. Explore the art of dehydrating, fermenting, and jarring, and take home your own homemade treasures (don’t forget all the tastings along the way!).

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

Farm Tour: This guided one hour tour will give you the context of sustainable living, through agriculture and provide insight into how the growing process affects the taste and quality of your food.

All-Inclusive Lunch: Relax with your friends and enjoy the high quality organic food produced by Chestnut Brae Farm in picturesque surrounds.

Hands-On Preserving Workshop: During this two hour workshop you will focus on three areas – dehydrating, fermenting and jarring, and explore the basics in getting started with these different preserving methods and participate in various preserving activities and tastings throughout.

This workshop will not be repeated in 2024, so this is your one and only chance to book this unique day out with friends.
