Chestnuts will be ready for picking from mid March until the end of May. Why not bring the family to enjoy an autumn experience and create some happy memories at Chestnut Brae.
Put on wet weather gear in case it rains, wear boots as it could be muddy, bring and a pair of gloves and come pick your own chestnuts in our glorious autumn forest of chestnut trees.
The entry fee to the orchard to pick chestnuts is $12 per person over 12 years of age and this includes the cost of the first kilo of chestnuts you pick. After that every kilo you pick is $12.00 a kilo.
During the picking season we also have a whole range of chestnut products, chestnut ale, chestnut liqueur and chestnut fed pork available for purchase.
