Chestnut Brae partners with the Bridgetown Distillery and Brewing Company to provide Chestnut Ale and Chestnut Liqueur to retailers.
The Chestnut Liqueur is very smooth and delecate on the palate. It not only has that lovely toasty chestnut flavour, but also hints of vanilla and creamy caramel.
The Ale is a gold medal award winning drink, awarded as the best craft ale in the world in 2017 and again in 2021 form the International Beer Awards in Melbourne. In the years between the gold medals, the Ale won 3 silvers and a bronze. It is a dark, heavy ale which would be comparable in nature to a guiness.
These boutique drinks are produced in small batches so are very unique, as well as being highly sought after. If you are interested in either of these, it is worth contacting the farm to ensure that they are in stock.
